RECAP OF THE 10TH EDITION

#FASHIONTECH BERLIN is the leading tech conference for fashion. On 4 July 2019, Anita Tillmann, Managing Partner of PREMIUM Group, Michael Stracke, Chief Business Development Officer, and Ole Tillmann, Founder & CEO of Peak welcomed a packed auditorium to the tenth edition of the conference in its new location: the Festsaal Kreuzberg.

Anita Tillmann says: “#FASHIONTECH is a super good place to make new business connections because we invite everyone from the fashion industry as well as from the technology side. You are going to meet a new crowd, with which you can develop the next step for your business. I don't know anywhere in the world where you can do this better than here.”

Michael Stracke “is super happy with the outcome of this season's event. It was definitely the right decision to move closer to SEEK, the streetwear and urbanwear trade show of PREMIUM Group, with  SEEK being right next to the #FASHIONTECH.”

“It is amazing to see that so many high-level speakers such as Designer Michael Michalsky, and C-Level Executives such as Gabriele Maggio, General Manager of Moschino, Joe Nickolls, Vice President and General Manager of EA Maxis, and Andrea Hopelain, VP of Global Brand Management & Marketing Electronic Arts, Sandeep Verma, Managing Director Europe Allbirds, Derek Morrison, Director Europe StockX, Brian Grevy, CEO of GANT, or Aaron Levant CEO of NTWRK, to name a few, made it to Berlin, because they consider the relevance of our business platform.”

In times of digital transformation, it is super important to provide a platform that brings together the relevant decision makers from fashion and tech, to exchange ideas. Again, interdisciplinary industries were brought together – this season for example digital communication with AR Filters and clothes for virtual identities as well as e-spirts. With that visitors can get inspired, try out new technologies in the exhibition area, learn from workshops and masterclasses, and create new business opportunities.

The dialogue is of utmost importance in order to move the digitalisation in the fashion industry forward.

“We want to thanks to our partners and supporters, because without them the success of #FASHIONTECH would not be possible,” closes Michael Stracke the conference that will be back during Fashionweek in January 2020.
